The Swiss firm of architects Manini Pietrini Sàrl, based in Neuchâtel, was founded as an outcome of the prior collaboration between Luigi Manini and Guido Pietrini. Coming from different professional backgrounds, these two architects had been working together on various projects since 1995. In 1997, they founded the firm and became business partners.
The firm's activities include the development of projects ranging from urban planning studies and public buildings to collective and individual housing, the conception and implementation of fair events and the design of various objects and furniture.
The firm, which is a regular participant in competitive tenders, can today count on a clientele that includes public institutions and major industrial companies as well as private individuals.

Luigi Manini
Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in 1964, Luigi Manini is an architect-designer who graduated from the CFPS. He began his professional career managing the technical office of a real-estate group and renovated a number of luxury apartments in Paris. On his return to Switzerland he co-founded a company involved in real estate project all over the world. He returned to work in his father's firm of architects & engineers, which he took over from him in 1995, the year of his first contacts with Guido Pietrini.

Guido Pietrini
Born in Viareggio, Italy, in 1963, Guido Pietrini holds a degree in architecture awarded by the University of Florence. He acquired his first professional experiences at his father's firm of architects. In Italy, he did free-lance work with friends and colleagues mainly in the museological field. He then went to Ticino to work with Mario Botta's firm of architects. As one of the founders of the Imago firm, which was especially active in private architecture, he settled in Neuchâtel, in 1995, where he met Luigi Manini.
